A preview of LinkedIn’s new menus (and other upcoming changes)

Back in March, LinkedIn guru extraordinaire Viveka von Rosen discovered yet even more changes coming to the LinkedIn user interface. The biggest change–and one I haven’t yet seen anywhere else–is the condensed menu. Read about those changes, and others, in this post, or watch the video below for an overview.

  1. I am confused — are these changes just for those with premium accounts? All of my user interfaces remain as they’ve always been…

    • Hi, Deborah. Thanks for the comment. It IS a little confusing keeping pace with all of the changes LinkedIn has introduced. My understanding is that this change will affect all LinkedIn accounts, but like other changes (the new profile, the Contacts feature, tagging connections in status updates), it’s being rolled out in waves. I don’t have the new menus either (or Contacts, for that matter). Viveka’s blog post is the only place I’ve seen some of these changes, in fact. Let me know when you see these changes associated with your account.
