New “Unified Search” coming to LinkedIn

In late March, LinkedIn announced that it is rolling out “Unified Search,” which will make it easier for users to search across categories like people, companies, and groups. In addition, LinkedIn is making auto complete more intuitive and enhancing saved search via customized alerts that update you when the results change.

I’ll be interested to see how this changes one of the most powerful aspects of LinkedIn: Advanced Search. For now, though, I’ll have to wait since I don’t yet have the new search. If you do, though, I’d be interested to hear what you think. Just drop a note in the comments.
